Entry #21. A path was improved today. Cats make their own paths — but we respect the well-paved ones. Let's walk it.

Moved the sealed gut check reveal to the end of the decision arc, so it lands after you've read your fears, your reflections, and what actually happened — not before.

Three distinct changes. A good number. Not too hasty, not too slow. The tempo of a productive day:

  • +GutRevealEntry added as a terminal timeline node after the outcome entry
  • +OriginEntry simplified: resolved gut reveal removed, only the sealed lock indicator remains for open decisions
  • +OutcomeEntry now connects to GutRevealEntry via a conditional timeline connector when a gut check exists

Now for the why — and this one matters. The core loop is the heartbeat of the whole thing. Read carefully.

The gut check mechanic is: write your private instinct at capture, seal it, reveal it at resolution. The reveal was firing too early — inside the origin block, before the user had read their review arc or the outcome. So you'd see 'your gut said X' and then be asked 'was your gut right?' while the evidence of whether you were right was still below the fold. Moving it to after the outcome flips that. Now the sequence is: here's what you feared → here's how you reflected → here's what happened → here's what your gut said when you first sat down. That final beat is the reckoning, not the preview. The change is purely structural — the gut text, the accuracy prompt, the styling are all the same. But ordering matters for this kind of self-knowledge feature. You read the verdict before you check your bet.
